Alison is based in Lisbon, Portugal and works throughout Europe delivering a range of training, coaching and cross-cultural services to the International community. Alison is a highly experienced psychotherapist and coach with a background in working with international schools, expatriate parents and their children. The focus of her work has been maintaining and building the resilience of each member of the family as they navigate all the emotional and practical transitions involved in moving country.  She is the founder of www.TransCulturalCoaching.com and leads our work with International & Boarding Schools in Europe.

Alison has spent the last 14 years enabling people and organisations, across all sectors, to survive and ultimately thrive through periods of change and transition. She holds both a Bachelors and Masters Degree from De Montfort University and is a qualified coach and transactional analyst psychotherapist. Prior to training as a psychotherapist, Alison spent 15 years in the IT industry as a business executive and manager. As well as being a professional in this area, Alison has first hand experience of being an expatriate mother. She has lived in England, Scotland and Portugal and has worked throughout Europe and in the USA.
